Ukrainian Education in Wartime: Challenges and Problems

The article surveys the most acute problems and challenges that Ukrainian educational system has faced since February 24, 2022 as a result of Russian aggression. For certain time, education children youth generally took back seat to basic task survival. A significant proportion children, especially displaced persons refugees, had miss school in spring semester. However, despite ongoing hostilities, educators are heroically continuing their work, even from bomb shelters. important problem facing is its transition domain state civil or personal sector. child's quality now primarily depend on parents, efforts conviction need for education. insufficient level funding negatively affects entire system, leading decrease number teachers, lack new curricula, printed textbooks materials, etc. Educational standards also suffer online format, which mostly presupposes self-teaching requires self-discipline students. Students lose motivation, sometimes (especially at elementary-school level) do not understand able absorb learning all. war over yet, young people continue live constant psychological tension, with deep trauma fears caused by war. serious challenge all students impossibility consistently teaching attending classes due planned emergency power outages can last many hours time. search format be rebuilt restructured already underway.
